5 Conference sessions, 12 Ukranian eggs, and 1 birthday

Mom and Dad Foote and Kimberly came into town for General Conference. This is a wonderful tradition that we always look forward to. So, you can pretty much guess that the past few days have been fun. In fact, this is spring break for Kim so the family stayed until today. Although all the sessions were inspiring and spiritual, it was a special treat to get to go to the Conference Center for the last session.
While the men were at the Priesthood session, the ladies decorated Ukranian eggs. You do this by drawing on the egg with a kistka, a tool that has a small metal funnel on the end that draws wax on the egg. You dye the egg and then cover with wax any area that you want to stay that color and then color the egg again. It is a tedious process, but the products are so beautiful.

Kimmy made a very cool egg. It was a globe.

Since Jeremy's birthday is next week and his parents won't be here then, Mom Foote made one of his favorite desserts and it was delicious. Thanks Mom, Dad, and Kimmy for coming up and treating us to so much fun. We love you!
