Quick Seattle trip

Last week, we headed up to Seattle for a few days for Jeremy to attend an academic conference (The Association of Internet Researchers or IR12) to help with his plans for next year. I got to play all day for three days while he was listening to panels.

We stayed with my bro and sister-in-law, Nate and Marilee, who took very good care of us and part of the fun of the trip was being with them.

But it was also fun to see Seattle. I bought a CityPass which allowed me to go see some cool things all over the city and R came along for free. I loved the history, novelty, and architecture of the city.

The gum wall

Pike's Place market

The aquarium

View of Seattle from the Space Needle

The Science Museum

At the zoo with cousins. Can you see the jaguar behind the glass?

The Experience Music Project (EMP). Really cool architecture.

A Michael Jackson coat and glove. Definitely a highlight.

A sculpture at the EMP made of over 700 instruments and the sculpture actually played!
