Hello world!

My little Will is only 3 months old, but it feels like he has been in our family for so much longer because of all that has happened in the past three months.

We left Portland in a whirlwind on July 26th. Moving is always crazy and this time is certainly was again. We used a method called a Relo-cube with ABF moving and when it was dropped off, it looked pretty small. But Jeremy worked hard and with a few minor things left behind, we got it all in. My family was so helpful with it all as well. That was really nice.

We drove to Salt Lake City, UT with my brother Hayden, who was helpful with the kids and fun to have along. My brother, Adam, got married to his lovely lady, Ashley, whom we got to meet for the first time the night before the wedding and are very impressed with.

They had a really fun, outdoor reception with stone fired pizza, root beer, and Nielsen's frozen custard.

While in SLC, we had a reunion with Jeremy's parents and siblings. So fun!
Then we left for the Ranch and had a wonderful couple of days there. Going there added about five hours onto our drive, but it was well worth it. It is always worth going to the Ranch, especially since it could be a long time before we go again.
Then we drove to Denver, CO and Omaha, NE and Nauvoo, IL. Jeremy and I have ancestors who were Mormon pioneers so it was very interesting and meaningful to see where the lived and to remember the sacrifices they made.

We finally pulled into town on August 7th and so far so good. We like it here. Jeremy's had a week of training and school starts tomorrow. We are excited for our time here in West Lafayette, IN.

You drove right through where we are living. (Well pretty close anyway) Omaha is not too far from us. We hope you enjoy your new adventure.
